The Journal of Gender-Specific Medicine is the official journal of the
Partnership for Gender-Specific Medicine at Columbia University, and is
the first journal specifically geared toward exploring the impact of
gender on normal physiology and on the pathophysiology of disease. The
Journal is listed in Index Medicus/MEDLINE and articles include original
studies, reviews, brief reports, on gender-specific features of human
biology found in many organ systems, such as the heart, the brain, bone,
and skin, in all populations of patients. JGSM is a resource for the
practicing physician, providing in-depth and clinically applicable data,
with the goal of improving patient care.
